Game crashes after every death on macOS Sierra. Please fix and will rate higher.

COD Black Ops campaign is amazing but the problem comes in when you want to play Online or Zombies. Online and Zombies are the most enjoyable modes on the game and if you can’t use it WHATS THE POINT!!! Some reviews say that the online and zombies work if you do a glitch…I have tried this glitch multiple times and it doesn’t work. DO NOT BUY THIS GAME IF YOU WANT TO PLAY ONLINE OR ZOMBIES. ASPYR MEDIA IS JUST TRYING TO GET MONEY WITHOUT PORTING OVER A FULL PRODUCT!!!

Overall the game is pretty good, the campaign is awesome but the problem here is multiplayer. It seems like no one is playing Multiplayer, in the other call of duty’s the mac players can play with the PC users, however in black ops 1 mac users can only play with mac users, and because mac isn’t seen as the ideal way to play games, hardly anyone is going to be online, whenever I’m online only about 50 or so people are online. Please make it so that mac users can also play with PC users so that the multiplayer is more active and the price is more worth it.

This game is amazing. It runs smoother than silk. But, how do i increase the screen size if, for say, I wanted to play on a monitor that was larger than my computer screen? Please put this in for future updates!!!!!!!!

Bought the game, worked great for a while, then I died and now every single time I die it gives me the error: Exceeded Maximum Number of Client Script Variables and then I have to start all over from the last save spot. I have a the new MacBook Pro 13inch with the touch bar.

I am enjoying playing it However, on my MacPro 2013 the display will go blank a couple of times per hour. The game is still running and you can recover by switching out of the game and switching back. It is annoying.

The game is a bit too psychedelic. The dream sequences and hallucinations are just too much. CIA black ops in Vietnam were nothing like what is portrayed here. The game made me a bit sick at times with all the weird hallucinations. The Helicopter action was lame. On a positive note the gunboat sequence is very fun!

Since the day I bought this game I’ve never been able to play in Multiplayer mode. You would thought that they would have made an update to fix it by now? Well I’m still waiting. Playing online was the only reason I bought this game so I feel robbed! DON’T BUY IT

I’ve purchased this title for my Mac on the Steam store before the Mac version was released. Running it on a WINE emulator was not ideal, but I snagged this one just a few days ago on the Mac App Store and I haven’t stopped playing the Zombies mod. It’s absolutely exhilarating! Though I did knock off 1-star from this game due to the absence of the “Nacht der Untoten” zombies map, it is no where to be seen. I searched high and low in the game, there’s no where I can see to download extra maps, contents, or even if it’s an IAP (in-app purchase) for that matter. Some clarity would be nice. Other than that, great game at a great price of €19.99. Highly recommended!

For unknown reason the game doesn’t start. I didnt receive any error messages. I own a macbook pro, late 2013 retina 15” 16gigs mem / 1.5 gig video. Whats the deal here guys? Please offer me a sollution or my money back.

The only servers that show up are Aspyr ones, I cant play with my son on regular pubs and he cant join these ones. If you want to play online, install BootCamp and go for it. Game should be priced at $19.99 since youre not really able to play online.

Great game, but you cannot save your progress (quicksave doesnt work), so you have to restart at the last save point when you die. This is tedious as it could be a fair bit back. I also started getting crashes with the error "Exceeded maximum number of script variables", which results in a white screen and game crash. This happens like clockwork every time I die now. Fix that bug and the game would be pure awesome. It runs like butter with all settings maxed at 2560x1440 on my 27" i7 iMac with 12GB RAM.

Love the game, I have not issues with loading it. Curious why it will only show in a 4:3 Ratio. Why wont it fill my whole screen on my 27". It has options to change the format but when I change it. Nothing changes, it stays exactly the same. My computer is not slow either.

Working Great on my Unsapportaed Mac Macbook Pro 13 inch early 2011, i think Having an SSD in it makes it better? A few legs here and there, but not enough to stop the awesomness of this game. one thing to add tho, how do i hooke up my wired 360 controller to it? have it hooked up but nothing is happening.

I wish there was more controller options then just the Xbox controller, my PS3 remote and my Logitech Rumblepad 2 both dont work with this game :(

Still waiting for it download! I just hope that it is like the PS3 or XBox version! :D

fun game, way to expensive and decent amount of lagging that goes on, if cheaper would be 5 stars!!!

ok. first off, i cant connect to multiplayer… so it makes the game useless, since i already beat it on xbox. Second : you. cant. invite. friends… never. you dont have a friend list and simply cannot play with people you know. absolutely no LAN possible. no friends in multiplayer. why the heck would anybody want to play this game? please do nut purchase before this is fixed as we stress the company. all i want to do is play coop zombies. is it too much to ask? :(

Ive been drawn to this style of FPS games for some time, and Ill admit, this one ranks highest by far. Very well thought out Campaign/Zombies which draws more emotion from the player, menu structure has drastically improved, and Multiplayer is simply awesome.. I thought nothing could beat Modern Warfare 4 for the online gaming, but the textures, sounds and simple details alone in Black Ops just raise the bar that much further. I also felt a tad "on the fence" regarding the price, but now that I see the depth of this game and have experienced the gameplay, I would buy it all over again. A definate worthwhile purchase, at least untill they work the lag bugs out of Black ops 2 and release THAT on the app store. Buy it NOW >> see you on Multiplayer!!
