Update this and fix the zombie and online problems….. or this is the biggest rip off.

Game crashes every time I try to plan. Others with the same problem, so do not buy until they fix the game. It is a waste of $40.

DO NOT INVEST IN THIS GAME WORST GAME ON THE STORE DOESNT EVEN WANNA OPEN I TRYED UNINSTALLING AND TURNING OFF MY LAPTOP BUT STILL DONT WORK

I’ve been a fan of all the COD variants — until now. Mind you, the action is still great — when you finally get to it. But the cut scenes are PAINFULLY LONG and there are TOO MANY! What made COD a great series was the play, not the cut scenes. Let’s hope Aspyr gets back to making great action games — not movies with a game.

I actually do not play multiplayer or campaign since I am more of a zombies guy, but overall, this game is great! Though it is pretty hard to find players online on zombies, so come on guys! Get the game! You HAVE to get this game, as long as you have a great running Mac with no viruses, it is best to play this game on the MacBook Pro with Retina Display or just the new regular MacBook 2015, though I am playing on a MacBook Air, the graphics aren’t great, but it is really just about the game!!

After the latest update, the problems with the Mutiplayer and Zombies are still not fixed. I cannot use either. Only the single player story works for me.

The game is great. The only thing is that it takes forver to download and the gameplay is okay. The multiplayer is actually a lot better than I thought. If you have the patiance for the download and can afford it, this game is for you. It’s great for plane rides or when you don’t have access to the consol version.

Since updating to the recent version of this app, the game crashes. What’s new in version 1.19 - minor bugs to crash the game. Look back at your code Aspyr as all my other CODs work on my Mac.

Initially I was skeptical whether this would run on my 2011 MBPro. After downloading the 12GB file, I realized that I had to set up with GameCenter first. After that it was smooth sailing until I tried to play zombies. I noticed that in zombies the cursor tends to move on its own towards the left despite my efforts of restarting the game. Havent tried campaign yet but multiplayer is decent with little lag on maps without snow rain or lots of dust. Other than that, Id have to say that this game is great despite the lag, bugs, and high price. [UPDATE] 6/6/2015 New version doesn’t work after updating mac OS to Yosemite. Menu interface has become more laggy and slower when selecting options and maps do not load. Force quit is required to relaunch game. Have had one crash already where the game quit before even launching properly. Will restart my computer to see if this fixes anything. As of right now, maps will not load on my 2011 Macbook Pro.

Nice game but super buggy. I have the newest top of the line iMac, and this game crashes all the time. Not worth the price.

…it keeps crashing when I get killed or when there is a movie after a mission is completed. It gives me an error that says “exceeded maximum number of script variables”. Is there a fix yet? I can’t find one on the internet.

COD Black Ops is a good game, my personal favorite in the COD series but this version is not great. First of all, the framerate is not good, but generally still playable. Also, the game itself is incredibly unstable, and crashes often, especially on the Hue City mission. Other than that, one minor gripe i have is that the resume game option often puts you into the wrong mission. everything else works pretty well so no complaints.

This game is so buggy. When I die it locks up and goes to white screen. The cutscenes are unbearable and cannot be bypassed. DO NOT BUY THIS GAME!!!!

When my character dies, the application freezes and only that time. I will try to delete and reinstall, but please fix this.

i just wasted 20 bucks on this game and it wont even open.i want my money back

Bought it for $70 on xbox360 when it came out… bought it for $20 here in the app store. It’s totally worth it! Played for 6+ hours today and I can see my self playing this game a whole lot more! The only thing that worries me, is that there’s not a whole lot of ppl playing it so it may fade away. I hope not because for what it is, it’s an excellent port for Mac. Both campaign and online multiplayer are running great on OSX El Capitan (10.11.1) MacBook Pro Retina 15-inch, Mid 2015. Proc 2.5 GHz w/i7, 16GB of ram on an SSD. Graphics card is a Intel Iris Pro 1536MB

I have to exit to enter multiplayer. also, like it did now I was playing campaign. All of a sudden, my game froze and quit unexpectedly. plz add MAJOR bug fixes. I would like u to do that. =)

When I try to play multiplayer I open my Game Center and log in, but it still won’t let me play. It keeps on saying log into Game Center. Please Help

OK game. Plays like a shooter from the 90s. Super choppy. Lots of annoying videos they force you to watch repeatedly

The game is one of my favrites, this version has a lot of issues. Freezing is one and crashing. Some times with an internet network present and active it won’t let me play on line. Any updates that can fix it?
