it is not working on my mac at all it loads fine but lags as soon as it his the main menu it slacks hard and takes like 2 minutes to see the courser move really not happy seeing as i spent like over $150 betwen the game download the data usage on my internet bil the controuler i went and got all for nothing i just wanna kill some zombies

Works ok on my computer. Was a tad bit pricy, but the game is worth it. Multi player is great!

Tried repeatedly, paid for it, cant get it. Im using OSX.8.3 on a 2 year old Imac. Apple support has no solutions for me! Very Lame.

Muiltyplayer is awesome more and more people everyday! Zombies could use some more people…. :( Buy the game!

I love this game but the price needs to drop dramatically so the sales will go up and more people will be on the servers and more people will be playing zombies. Also Black Ops 2 would be nice.

Really upset that with the purchase of this game we are limited to just MAC servers!… Call of Duty 4 you have access to all. This copy was a waste of money due to it limits the number of server access…. again makes me wonder why I game with a Mac… regret switching from PC… for gaming at least.

game is good, but campaign is not that good, short, and with tones of animations would be 4 stars (almost 5 stars) if the multiplayer connection was more reliable and after would be 5 stars : - if the animations could be skiped and have less espessially after losing connection to host in zombie you get back to very first menu : why?! -if the game was cheaper to buy and for the in app purchase

in this game u cant enable magic which gives u the opportunity to use a gun box in zombies but there is none which is why i can only survive 5-7 rounds without good weapons

I purchased this game as well as an app called Joystick Mapper, so I could configure my Playstation 3 controller to my Mac. All went well, the buttons configured nicely, although the sensitivity when I aim down the sights is ridiculous aha.. Its so unbelieveably high that it is impossible to kill anybody. If anyone has any advice on how to fix this I would greatly appreciate it.

Since Ive been playing a Call Of Duty game, like everyone else, for me its for the amazing multiplayer online mode. THE MAC VERSION DOESNT ALLOW YOU TO HAVE A PRIVATE, FRIENDS, LOCAL SERVER OR LAN PARTY! So completely useless for me!!! I have been waiting for 2 days to download that game and I am really disapointed! You can only play onlie against unknown people on servers from Aspyr where there is no one! So take your and put it in the trash, its the same feeling! Seriously, my COD4 (2007) IS doing it, and that black ops version that just came out (2012) doesnt. I sincerely hope that Aspyr is going to make a huge update to change these things to improve and show the same respect for gamplay of the Mac users like the PC users...

i have an original and with cable included xbox360 gamepad and it doesnt work, why ???

Download fails at 5Gb, don’t waste your time trying to download. i have the PC game and it’s excellent, hope they can correct the download problem

having issues with any multiplayer or zombies always comes up with an error connection failure to the black ops servers

i bought it and downloaded it for like 3 hours and right at the end it had an error and wont download! Dont waste your money on this game like i did!

Bought this game last December when I got my new MB Pro 15 with Retina D”. I’m at the end of the game but the game keeps crashing because I have (apparently) exceeded the maximum number of client variables? I have no idea what this means. Black Ops is a great Mac game but this issue needs to get resolved fast! Would have given it 4 stars were it not for this ridiculous tech glitch. No one seems to have an answer either. Honestly, at 50$ you expect these issues to be ironed out a long time ago… This blows!!!!

Ok it’s a great game no doubt about it. But…. At one point when I’m in Nam I get to a certain scene and my game either freezes or completely crashes. I installed the update but it still does not run. My computer is well within playing compatability. I did a number of back and forths with apple but the issues never got resolved. It worked before I did the Maverick upgrade but since then….well…don’t bother. I’m going to have to give it a one star because if you can’t play it…what’s the point.

It’s a great game, there is no doubt about it. But when I try to use my xbox360 wireless controller in the game, it doesn’t work well (I can’t move at all). The controller and drive don’t have any problems. I just hope the problem would be fixed in the next version.

Amazing game just a few problems. First of all its a little laggy and im on a macbook pro. You need a GREAT mac to run this game. Secondly there are a few things like controllers not working and crashes. Maybe its just my computer… The game seems to be best when you play with it when useing a mouse. I would just like to see FPS improvements in the next update! Thanks. (Buy this game, awesome if you dont use a controller)

Great game! one of the smaller problems is that there is lag or lagspikes when playing in multiplayer on large maps

This game works just fine, no complaints so far.
