Game would be fun if it did not constantly crash.

I purchased this game for a new FPS. I do not game much and primarily just wanted to blast zombies to relive stress. The game crashes very frequently. I ether get game center crashes or saying I got logged out or the game goes non responsive in full screen and must reboot from power button. I have had the game less that 24 hours and thinking I made a poor choice in my $50 purchase.
I am running latest OS and 12 gigs of RAM with no other applications running.
